What is the 'Fallacy of Division'?

Assuming that because the whole has a certain property, the parts must also have it. Example: 'This church is 100 years old; therefore, every member of the church is 100 years old.'

Explanation

This is the inverse of the fallacy of composition and is a common error in categorical thinking.
