What is the 'Fallacy of Composition'?

Assuming that because a part of something has a certain property, the whole must also have that property. Example: 'Every brick in this wall is light, so the entire wall must be light.'
Explanation
This is relevant to cosmological arguments; some argue that because everything *in* the universe is contingent, the universe *itself* must be contingent.
